Art Basel Miami 2012 preview and Vernissage

I attended the Preview and Vernissage events for Art Basel Miami 2012 with by buddy Brian Delshad. We had as much fun previewing art as we did previewing people like Martha Stewart, Vera Wang, and a dozens of g’zillionaires and their handlers and art consultants.  I keep thinking of an excerpt I read from Tom Wolfe’s new novel  Back to Blood  in Vanity Fair  entitled “The Running of the Billionaires”…about this very event.  Brian and I had fun and even capped off the evening at a fabulous party launch party hosted by Dior and feature a new film (to be a permanent installation at the store) by Bruce Weber  entitled, Can I Make the Music Fly? See.
